Bird Dog ( poker )



1) Someone who checks out the action at a club (usually implying that he was sent by a rival club).

2) Someone who hustles players from one club into another.
(Doing so is strictly against all card-room etiquette, and is likely to get the perpetrator barred if he's caught.)
