Field ( craps )
A one roll wager that the next number will be a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12.
If a 3,4,9,10,or 11 is rolled, you win even money.
If a 2 or 12 is rolled, you're paid 2:1. Some casinos pay 3:1 for either the
2 or 12 (but not both), and some casinos may make
the 5 instead of the 9 a field roll. This is a one roll bet that can be made
anytime.
Field ( keno )
A group of marked spots that is not circled.
Field (general terms )
Some bookmakers may well group all the outsiders in a competition under the
banner headline of 'field'
and put it head to head with the favourite. This is known as favourite vs
the field betting and is common in horse and golf betting.
